Chris Murphy is first and foremost a worshipper of God and a believer of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  Chris is a singer/songwriter who grew up in a small town outside of New Orleans, Louisiana called New Sarpy.  Chris sang his first solo, "Sweet Sweet Spirit" at the St. Matthews Baptist Church at the age of nine.  Chris always loved different genres of music including Gospel, Jazz, R&B, Country, and Classical.  Chris discovered his ability to write songs while living in Washington, DC.  He was also exposed to different styles of music from Louisiana and New York that he infused into his own unique style.  His debut Christian/Gospel recording "Your Grace To Me" is a collection of songs that highlights his influences and the production skills of Ameka "AJ"  Wright (www.amekaj.com).
